Chrysty is a wife, a mom to both biological and bonus children, a retired teacher, and the host of the Start Scared podcast. For years, she felt trapped by the expectations of who she was “supposed” to be, losing herself in the chaos of motherhood. Now, she’s on a journey to rediscover who she is and who God created her to be, in real time.

Chrysty is deeply passionate about empowering other moms to break free from the limiting stories they tell themselves. She encourages them to find clarity to take that first, scary step toward prioritizing themselves— because who they are outside of being a mom still matters.
